Mikasa Classic Flair

The Mikasa Classic Flair pattern is one dinnerware line that is perfect for any application. The design is extremely simple, yet it offers an equal amount of elegance to any table that it adorns. These all white dinner pieces feature large embossed images of calla lilies. Plus, they are stoneware material so they are microwave, oven and dishwasher safe. This dinner line doesn’t stop at plates though. It also offers a variety of accessory items such as coffee and creamer sets, salt and pepper shakers, large serving platters, gravy boats, vases and much more. 

Unfortunately the Mikasa Classic Flair pattern has been discontinued. The pattern became available in 1984 and stopped being manufactured in 2007. Although Mikasa and its department store sellers no long offer this pattern, you can still find it by means of other avenues. If you are in desperate search of hard to find pieces, you can peruse garage sales or estate sales. You will find many sellers of discontinued Mikasa patterns. They often offer replacement pieces and also have new and sometimes used items for sale. And if you cannot find the item you are looking for, there are even websites that allow you to sign up to be notified when they find that rare piece that you have been desperately looking for. You can also check out internet auction sites such as eBay and may find a pre-owned yet still in good condition item that you need for your set. Another great place to look is your local newspaper or craigslist classified ads. 

If you want to complete your collection of Mikasa Classic Flair dinnerware, you should not feel like you are at a dead end because the line is no longer being manufactured. It just means that you will have to search a little deeper to find those pieces that you are missing. But by all means, do not give up. Those pieces are available out there somewhere. You just have to track them down.
